The workshop is primarily focused on using Chinese color pigments and not Chinese black ink (which is the foundation to learning Chinese painting ). -Get a basic intro to Chinese painting and equipment guided by the studio's artist.
-Learn about the symbolic meaning of lotus flowers in Chinese art. 
- Class 1 + 2 :Practice painting the differernt compomnents of a Lotus flower painting
- Class 3: Start creating the painting onto the silk fan
- At the end of the experience, take home an elegant silk fan.
