These 5 condensed introductory classes for beginners provide a quick glimpse into traditional Chinese Painting where we will learn how to use traditional Chinese ink as well as the 3 major Chinese color pigments ( yellow, blue and brown) to create 2 of the Four Gentlmen : Bamboo and Chrysanthemun in 5 classes.

Workshop 1-2
-Learn how to paint traditional bamboos with black ink. Create a Ink bamboo painting on rice paper.
(*If you have attended our one-off Chinese Painting class already, workshop 1-2 will be focused on a Chinese flower motif -chrysanthemum)
 
Workshop 2-5
-Learn how to paint typical Chinese flower motif chrysanthemum. Create a chrysanthemum painting on rice paper.
(*If you have attended our one-off Chinese Painting class already, workshop 2-4 will be a fruit motif: Loquat
Workshop 5
-Depending on each student's progress, for the remaining time of the last class, learn to create a green bamboo painting on rice paper.
